Looking to emit some modernity into their property, a local family from Powys decided on a straight-style white-primed staircase with a glass balustrade.
A straight-flight staircase in a white primed finish was chosen for its timeless simplicity, serving as a neutral canvas for modern design elements.
For the balustrade, glass was incorporated into the staircase using grooves in the baserail and handrail. This helped to create an open and airy feel, allowing natural light to flow through. The oak handrail and baserail not only provided a tactile warmth but also added a contrasting element that enhanced the visual interest of the staircase.
Once the stairs were complete, the homeowners added a plush grey carpet that lasted the full duration of the stairs, extending into the first-floor hallway. This neutral tone of the carpet helped blend in with the existing interior of the property.
Our Customer Said:
Very happy with my stairs. The whole process is very easy and stress-free, they come out and visit to take measurements and discuss any ideas that you have. The 3-D images that you then receive, make the decision a lot easier. I am very happy with my stairs in my new build and they do get a lot of compliments.
