Homeowners from Berkshire with a passion for modern design approached the Pear Stairs team for a staircase transformation project. They desired a sleek and contemporary look that would serve as a focal point for their home.

An open-riser style was selected to optimise the space, allowing light to flow freely through the staircase, and enhancing the overall openness of the area. Oak was chosen for the treads to promote natural warmth, creating a stunning contrast against the white-primed balustrade.

To promote an eye-catching statement, a feature step was incorporated into the design, helping to create a focal point as well as seamlessly blending into the flight creating a sense of continuity and effortless flow.

The new staircase completely transformed the property, contributing to the clean and sophisticated aesthetic the clients initially wanted to achieve.
