An industrial facility sought to enhance its operational efficiency and gain access to its upper floor by installing a robust staircase system. Pear Stairs designed an industrial-grade staircase using heavy-duty materials known for their strength and durability, being purposely engineered to bear substantial weight and consistent usage.

The flight features 42mm treads, 3mm strings, and 18mm risers all in whitewood which was left unfinished with no plans for it to be aesthetically pleasing and more importantly strategically designed for maximum operational convenience. The customer sourced and installed their own balustrade to save on costs, using their own materials and craftsmanship.
