The open risers in this American white oak staircase allow plenty of natural light into the hallway. Stop-chamfered newels are finished with pyramid caps, with 35mm stop-chamfered spindles to complement. The customer opted for a double bullnose bottom step on entry.
Our Customer Said:
The open riser staircase has transformed our hallway, replacing the closed, stained whitewood stairs we had. The design is so much better, getting rid of the drop landing we had at the top of the stairs. Also the short newels under the top of the stairs give us easy walking access underneath.
