Exploring options for an entirely new staircase for their renovated property in the Isle of Wight, our clients approached the Pear Stairs team with their measurements. Their desired flight needed to suit their traditional-style home that served functional elements. Our on-hand design team proposed a design that combined classic aspects with a contemporary twist.
To get the desired aesthetic, high-quality white-primed pine was used to provide a smooth surface that obtains a clean and crisp appearance. The flight is completed with our Square Posts topped off with Ball Caps, and 35mm Spindles in the style Stop-Ovolo.
After careful selection, a D-End feature step was incorporated to complement the overall design, providing an open and welcoming approach to the entrance of the staircase. It also creates a captivating focal point for visitors.

The stairs are finished and we are very pleased. We made some slight changes to the landing area, but the critical bit was to clear the kitchen door frame which we did by 20mm. You were very helpful in calculating this. Perfect.
