The Pear Stairs team was tasked with the opportunity to create a visually striking staircase that would complement the existing decor while introducing an element of sophistication and uniqueness. The result? This stunning open riser, oak landing flight.
Clients expressed their preference for an open riser staircase to create a sense of spaciousness and allow the light to flow freely throughout the area. Opting for a prominent effect, the solid oak treads used come in 42mm, with 20mm risers and 32mm strings.
A combination of products from the Elements range by Richard Burbidge was utilised to create this effortless colour break, featuring the Plain Landing (MB04L) black metal spindle, secured in place by the hand and base rail to match.
Our Customer Said:
Our requirement was for a feature open-tread staircase in oak linking the reception hall to the first floor landing via a winder which was to be located in an existing clock tower. 3 manufacturers were approached for a design and quotation however only Pear Stairs were able to meet the design brief to our complete satisfaction. The design and production was carried out to a high standard and delivered within the timeframe agreed. In summary they provided excellent service.
