Property owners from Cheshire approached the Pear Stairs team to assist in renovating their existing staircase in their newly purchased home in the suburbs. Seeking a modern aesthetic, they wanted to create a sleek flight that would feature a bold and edgy design.

A proposed design of a matt black staircase with black spindles to match was chosen, with the dark colours adding a sense of drama and industrial feeling to the space. Utilising our popular contemporary matt black baluster spindles in the styles Pembroke and Camlad, following a 2-1-2 layout.

To complement the flight, clients added a plush light-toned, ash-grey carpet. This introduced a warm and homely approach that was in line with the existing colour scheme of the property.
