A stunning addition to this property in Pembrokeshire offers a clean appeal provided by this single straight closed-string style staircase.

Seeking to match the existing furnishings of their property, clients decided to design their staircase in harmony with their spacious, open-plan kitchen. Following the already prominent white theme, all stair components are in either redwood or whitewood and white-primed.

To create visual interest within the flight, a continuous handrail was added in oak which has been varnished to draw attention away from the heavily used white. This instantly enhances the appearance and provides an inviting feel which welcomes you on arrival. It also elongates the room and creates an illusion of a larger staircase.

To finish, clients installed a mixed-toned grey carpet runner lasting the entirety of the flight. This allows the stairs to be protected from wear and tear whilst breaking up a monochromatic colour scheme. A good well done by the Pear Stairs team!
