A striking quarter-landing staircase, crafted with an open-riser style and entire Oak components. Clients from Norfolk decided on having a 42mm thick tread with a square nosing overhang to provide a solid appearance.

When planning to install a new staircase, clients were aware there was limited natural light emission within the property and chose to use an open-riser design for this reason. The staircase features a D-End bottom step on arrival. All Oak components were later stained to match the rest of the existing furnishings in the property.

Wanting to incorporate metal within the flight, clients opted for the popular Richard Burbidge Trademark Metal Spindles for their balustrade. Utilising an alternating pattern of spindles in the styles 'Boston' and 'Charleston' secured with Richard Burbidge's metal fixing brackets. To finish, Newel Post Caps were matched in line with the spindles in black metal for a uniform display.

We are very happy with the stairs which we installed in our self-build home.
