The perfect addition for this stately home, clients were seeking a design that had the ability to create a sense of grandeur and elegance. Working with an extensive entryway, a Splayed staircase was chosen.
Pear Stairs specialise in the design and manufacturing of splayed staircases which showcase a bespoke design including feature steps which fan out as they ascend, creating a wider and more dramatic appearance than traditional staircases.
This design can be particularly effective in large, open spaces or in buildings with a unique architectural style that calls for a more visually striking effect and instantly sets the tone for the rest of the building.
In line with the premium approach of the stairs, Black Walnut was used for the treads and T&G boards. This instantly creates a bold contrast against the rest of the white-primed components within this flight. What we like to call an A-1 staircase.
