After purchasing their first staircase from Pear Stairs, clients from Bedfordshire contacted our team for their next renovation project. They were seeking a stand-out flight which would tie in with the current aesthetic of the property.
Crafted from all oak components to provide the appeal of a traditional flight. Wanting to incorporate a modern twist, clients sourced their own metal newel post to create a striking display on approach. This in-hand with the glass balustrade and metal handrail emphasises the originality of the staircase.
To provide a more chunky effect, our designers suggested a thicker tread given the space available in the room. Using 42mm treads and strings to create a striking statement.
