Long-standing owners of this property in Shropshire were looking for a renovation project to replace an old staircase, they opted for a traditional style in-line with the existing furnishings in the property. Following a closed-string layout, the staircase provides a symmetrical, angled design.
Seeking a staircase in-line with up-to-date regulations, clients were in close liaison with our team throughout the process, providing them advice and guidance throughout.
Designed with a single-winder turn near the top, clients chose Oak as the material for all the visible components. This staircase consists of 35mm stop-chamfered spindles and matching stop-chamfered newels topped with a pyramid cap. Knowing they were going to carpet the flight, clients chose Whitewood and Plywood for the hidden treads and risers.
Our Customer Said:
We are so happy with our new oak staircase from Pear Stairs, they look great, meet up to date regulations and are very solid/robust. Their representatives were very supportive and helpful throughout and gave what proved to be great advice.
