One of our local clients wanted to create a focal point for entry to this newly renovated property in Shropshire.

Working in collaboration with our team of experts, this sophisticated quarter winder flight manufactured from Oak and Redwood was created.

This staircase features a partnership of both modern and traditional aspects, in line with the property's already existing furnishings. A cut-string structure was selected to maintain the consistency of open space and optimise natural lighting.

A D-end step was chosen for the beginning of the flight to introduce a wide and welcoming approach, in respect of the traditional approach with this staircase. Opting for white-primed components across all the staircase parts, clients decided to paint their black to introduce a colour-break and contemporary style.

The addition of a grey carpet runner along the full length of the flight contributes to the contrasts and establishes some texture throughout the flight. A neat but striking addition to the characteristics of the property.
