A stunning staircase that our Pear Stairs team endue being part of. Clients in Cornwall wanted a statement staircase that is bold and distinctive, completed in a natural colour scheme that offers warm hues in correlation with the existing furnishings of the property.
The client proposed for the staircase to feature a traditional layout and the inclusion of modern features, this is achieved with the outstanding Oak components. The addition of a glass balustrade creates an open space, allowing natural light to pass through the room. Opting for the balustrade to be held in by grooves in the handrail, rather than usual brackets means a clean aesthetic is provided. Open-risers were chosen to further enhance the spacious feeling of this staircase.
Crafted using 42mm strings, treads, 20mm risers and the pear handrail. Stop Chamfered posts were used to add a symmetrical display, whilst still adding some detailing which is easy on the eye. Topped with Slender newel caps, creating a highly sleek and staggering flight which caters for all tastes.
