1058. Notting Hill

A client in London approached the Pear Stairs to design and manufacture these two flights of stairs for their property. Owners wanted something that was of simplicity but make it a statement piece using bold colours to express this. 

Crafted from a mixture of Whitewood, and Redwood this staircase features a straight style on both flights using 42mm treads, 32mm stings and 18mm risers. All components have been primed in preparation for the paint that was selected for them. 

The black paint chosen by the owners offers an elegant contrast against the prominent white walls within the property. Bright yellow features were added to the handrail, working in harmony with the already existing yellow doors. A seamlessly simple but outstanding staircase.
