First approaching Pear Stairs by designing their very own staircase on our Staircreator; this client in Rugby was after a staircase that doubled as a stunning design feature, next to the floor-to-ceiling window.
In keeping with the beautiful natural design scheme that exists within this home, all of the visible components were manufactured from oak. These included, oak strings, stop ovolo oak posts, oak pear handrails, 41mm oak stop ovolo spindles, oak ball newel caps, oak veneer apron, oak nosing and oak cover mould.
The only components in this stunning staircase that were manufactured using different materials were the treads and risers. Due to the client's plan of carpeting the staircase, our expert designers suggested the use of 32mm whitewood treads and also the use of white primed risers. This helped reduce the cost of the overall staircase with minimal compromise on the quality of the structure.
