A straight staircase that greets you as you enter this property in Lancashire, the client wanted a welcoming design feature that retained the openness of the space. An exciting challenge for our expert staircase designers, there are plenty of talking points in this stunning flight of stairs.
Manufactured with oak treads, handrails and posts, the natural colour of these sections are in keeping with the laminate flooring, doors and existing furnishings of the room. Purposefully designed to create a chunky look, the 42mm oak treads selected are the thickest option we have available and are perfectly complemented with the square nosing finish.
Beautifully broken up with white primed strings and risers; the colour contrast helps brighten the space and provides the staircase with its own character to stand out in the room.
Not wanting to enclose this staircase with spindles, the balustrade consists of bespoke glass panels held in place by clamps. Exquisitely shaped to follow the cut string styling, this intricate design promotes the transmission of natural light and creates an open aesthetic to the hallway.
To add the final touches to this outstanding staircase; the client opted for our contemporary twist Newel posts with a brushed nickel flat cap and a slender handrail. Continuing in the same style along the returning balustrade, the brushed nickel caps match the glass clamps to elegantly tie this whole staircase design together.
