This oak staircase in Worthing, West Sussex utilises quality Pear Stairs oak components for a neat finish.
The texture of the timber lends a traditional feel to the project but there are some contemporary innovations going on.
Stairs With Secret Storage
Under the stairs, a sleek fitted glass door and panel have been installed in front of a stylish wine rack with a refrigerated shelf.
The wooden shelves and glass features compliment the oak staircase and suit the style of the design, and the room.
Sweeping Timber Staircase Design
The staircase itself includes a quarter landing, for efficient use of space. It also has a closed string that provides
straight clean lines to the overall design. The spindles are 35mm stop chamfered, as are the newel posts, all made from oak.
The treads are a sturdy whitewood that has been carpeted for comfort.
