Feature Steps; A Staircase Design That Makes A Statement
This T-shaped staircase we manufactured for a Cornwall property does an excellent job at demonstrating how effective feature steps can be for a staircase. This design incorporates two D-end steps at the bottom of the flight, stacking for a grandiose aesthetic.
T-Shaped Stairs; Practical and Efficient Staircase Design
The smart inclusion of a central carpet strip provides an elegant touch to the design, flirtatiously showing off the warm colour and texture of the wood underneath. This staircase also demonstrates a typical T-shaped staircase. These stairs allow access to multiple parts of a building from the stairs, including a design such as this can be an economical decision in terms of space.
Oak Stairs; Warm Colour & Familiar Texture
The technical specifications for this staircase reveal the use of high quality 32mm oak treads, accompanied by stop chamfered spindles and newel posts for a sturdy yet visually appealing finish. The newel caps have been topped off with pyramid newel caps, giving a subtle point of interest to the design.
The customer was pleased with the design process and end-product, they said: “The stairs were so easy to create with your software programme and great to have a visual at the end.
“Turnaround time was quite swift, the quality was great and the stairs were easy to install.”
